How to buy an anonymous +888 number
An anonymous number is a Telegram phone number in the +888
range that belongs to no mobile carrier and exists only as an NFT on TON. Whoever holds the NFT can
sign up for or log in to Telegram with it, with no SIM card. apiton shows which numbers are offered
and at what price; it does not sell them.
1. Find a number
- Numbers for sale — fixed prices.
- Numbers on auction — the current bid and the end time.
- Series such as +888 0….
- A particular number: open
apiton.org/number/888…(digits only) or send+888 …to @apitonBot.
"Not found" means the number was never minted: the +888 range is not fully issued.
2. See where the price comes from
The number's page names the source of its price:
- On auction — Fragment's auction runs inside the NFT. The next bid is the larger of "current bid + 1 💎" and the current bid raised by the minimum step in percent; a late bid moves the end; a bid at the "buy now" maximum ends the auction at once; an outbid bid goes back to its wallet.
- For sale, "per fragment.com" — an off-chain listing on Fragment; the NFT stays in the owner's wallet until the deal.
- For sale through a sale contract — a marketplace contract holds the NFT and releases it to whoever pays; the price may be in a jetton such as USD₮.
3. Buy it
- Auctions and Fragment listings are bought on fragment.com. While the number is offered on Fragment itself, its page on apiton.org links there. Connect a TON wallet on Fragment and bid or buy; Fragment's own rules apply.
- A number in a sale contract is bought through the marketplace that listed it; the number's page shows the seller and the contract.
Before you pay, open the number in @apitonBot: the card is a live read, while lists can lag behind the chain.
4. After the purchase
The NFT is now in your wallet. Fragment delivers the Telegram login codes for the number to the NFT's owner instead of sending an SMS: sign in to Telegram with the number and take the code from Fragment. You can move the NFT to another wallet, list it or auction it like any NFT — whoever holds it receives the codes, so keep that wallet safe.
To follow a number before you buy, tap Watch on its card in the bot: it tells you about new listings, price changes and bids.
